Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed

What is Awana?

AWANA club meetings are jam-packed with fun experiences. While they’re having fun, they’re learning and growing spiritually. The clubs are run by trained leaders with a heart for service and a love for Jesus with a goal to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. This program teaches children that God is real, that He loves them, and how He expresses His love through Jesus Christ.

Clubs

Puggles: 2 - 3 years

Puggles recognizes the learning ability of 2- and 3-year olds by introducing biblical precepts at church and equipping parents to teach them at home. Toddlers love having their very own Awana club just like their older siblings

Cubbies: 3 - 5 years

Cubbies can understand important concepts of the Bible through fun curriculum designed for this age group. The children learn to respect God.  They also learn to know Jesus as teacher, Savior, and Son of God.

Sparks: Kindergarten - 2nd grade

Children learn about the people and events of the Bible.  This builds a foundation of wisdom for understanding God, Jesus and Salvation.  The AWANA materials teach them how to memorize the word of God.

Truth and Training: 3rd - 5th grade

Truth and Training also known as T&T answers key questions about God and the Bible, guiding them to grow in His grace.  It provides a solid spiritual foundation during the years when kids are pulled in every direction.  T&T helps keep Bible study and evangelism high priorities in their lives.

AWANA is divided into three segments.

Handbook Time

This is where Clubbers work one-on-one with a trained leader to complete assignments in the curriculum materials.  AWANA emphasizes memorization and understanding of key bible verses that teach how to know God and walk with Him.  A series of awards and rewards honor achievements at all levels of the clubber’s progress.

Large Group Time

Everyone in a particular club gathers together for singing, announcements, and most importantly, a practical Bible message.

Game Time

Game time will give a child the chance to play fun games while learning teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.
